‘Ceylon Sidecar’ tea cocktail

KoffieTcacao is a Dutch magazine which writes about all aspects of the coffee, tea & cocoa biz. I’ve created five cocktail recipes for Dilmah including their tea’s and hosted a photoshoot for this magazine.

Ceylon_Sidecar

Here you can read the English translation of the Ceylon Sidecar recipe, or discover one of the other tea cocktails:

  • Minty Mule (non-alcoholic)
  • Lively Lime Longdrink
  • Jasmine Green Tea
  • Sansaronno (non-alcoholic)

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Remy Martin cognac
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml Dilmah Perfect Ceylon syrup
  • 1 lemon zest

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker
  • jigger
  • paring knife
  • juicer
  • hawthorne strainer
  • coupe glass

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, except for the lemon zest.
  2. Shake vigorously with cubed ice and strain into a pre-chilled coupe glass.
  3. Garnish the Ceylon Sidecar with the lemon zest.
