Passionate Peach

 

Are you familiar with the Nationale IQ Test? Now there is a Nationale Sekstest! A knowledge test on RTL5 about sex and sexuality, where tonight I’m shaking up some aphrodisiac cocktails for eight Dutch superstars! My assignment was to create a drink for the competitors that would boost their sex drive and get the drinker in the right mood.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml gin
  • 30 ml passionfruit juice
  • 15 ml peach puree
  • 15 ml sugar syrup
  • 15 ml champagne
  • fresh peach for garnish

Equipment

  • cocktail shaker
  • jigger
  • hawthorne strainer
  • fine strainer
  • paring knife
  • flute glass

 

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, except for the champagne.
  2. Shake vigorously with cubed ice and fine strain into a pre-chilled flute glass.
  3. Add the champagne and give it a quick stir.
  4. Garnish the cocktail with a slice of fresh peach.
  5. Game on ?

Tip: for a non-alcoholic version, just substitute the gin for coconut water and the champagne for a nice tonic.
